IBC Auslink submission in particular support for the Princes Highway and allocation of Federal funding. The IBC in a submission to Auslink Planning Branch, Department of Transport and Regional Services. has supported the call for the Princes Highway north of Jervis Bay turnoff to be included as part of the next Auslink round in the 2008-2015 period. "IBC takes the view that given the projected growth in industry and population, particularly in the Shoalhaven, the ability of the Princes Highwayto cope with the demands placed upon it in its current form will increasingly be called into question. IBC therefore calls on both the State and Federal Governments to set aside political differences to work together as have done in the case of the Pacific Highway, to ensure the fast tracking of the upgrade of the highway to a divided dual carriageway standard to the Jervis Bayturnoff."
